In addition, you can use the cancel feature to manually stop toasting, and if your slices are small then you can use the extra-lift function to easily remove the toast. The safety function with automatic switch-off prevents burnt toast. The toaster also has 3 pre-set functions: reheat to warm toast that has gone cold, defrost for toasting frozen slices and the bagel function which ensures the cut surfaces of the bagel are toasted and the outer is warmed.
